About

Hello and a very BIG welcome to Midlife Matters’ blogsite – I’m delighted to have you here. Now, I know the clue is in the title but in case you’re in any doubt, this is my blog about all things that matter to women in midlife. I’m Karen Knott, a personal development coach, founder of Midlife Matters and a renaissance woman on a mission!

My mission? To help midlife women make the most of the positive opportunities to be found in this dynamic, transitional life stage by reconnecting with their ‘ three P’s’ – a sense of purpose, passion and power.

Few would deny that this is indeed a dynamic time for a woman, with changes rippling through almost every apect of life but it also has to be acknowledged that midlife is also a scary, turbulent and unsupported place to be! The women I work with also experience these feelings, fears and challenges BUT… and this is a very important but… they are ready to DO something about it.

If you’re interested in finding out more, I’d love you to visit the website http://www.midlifematters.co.uk where you’ll find more information and resources, as well as a 3 part FREE Video Programme: 3 Steps to a Truly Transformative Midlife

Warm regards,

Midlife does matter! It can be the most exciting, change filled period of a person’s life – the chance to do the things we’ve always wanted to do and to toss our hang-ups into the wind. It’s not always easy to change, but at midlife our focus becomes narrower, sharper and our wisdom lifts us up and gives us the courage we need to take a leap. Midlife does matter! and I enjoyed reading your blog.

Yes, it certainly DOES matter…it’s a challenging transition that’s for sure but it can also be the most productive and purposeful time of our lives. Thanks for replying with such enthusiasm Dorothy!
